Plant Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Forest Park, Georgia, USA; onsite 5 days a week

Salary: $91,200–$175,000, $100,300–$192,500, or $109,400–$210,000 annually, depending on U.S. labor-cost zone. The role is also eligible for incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead maintenance teams supporting plant operations, CMMS administration, work orders, breakdowns, abnormality tracking, inventory, and preventive maintenance.
• Develop and execute production maintenance support plans and integrate innovation, renovation, product, process, and capital equipment projects into the facility.
• Improve long-term plant reliability using Operations Excellence methodologies, tools, and performance metrics.
• Lead the Asset Care/UDM Implementation Task Force and deliver the plant’s five-year strategy with monthly progress updates.
• Drive continuous improvement through autonomous maintenance activities, training, knowledge transfer, and sustainable balanced-scorecard improvements.
• Provide technical guidance for project reviews and Operations Readiness activities, ensuring effective equipment and process integration.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; relevant work experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment, including 5 years in maintenance management.
• Experience leading multi-shift and multi-tiered teams, including hiring, coaching, performance planning, disciplinary action, and change leadership.
• Strong technical aptitude with MRO inventory and service-work management, plus 5 years of Maintenance Excellence experience such as PM Pillar or TPM.
• Experience with budget planning, basic accounting and financial analysis, technical problem-solving, and management of safety, quality, environmental, cost, and production priorities.
• Excellent written, oral, communication, presentation, collaboration, and influencing skills across maintenance, engineering, R&D, procurement, plant leadership, and corporate support groups.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) registration.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment systems, materials and processes, and manufacturing supply chains.
