Plant Engineer

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA; onsite at the plant

Annual base salary: $104,800–$117,900, plus a target annual bonus of 12.5% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead plant safety processes and compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Implement reliability-centered maintenance and the hirify.global Maintenance Excellence process to improve equipment uptime, OEE, and operating costs.
• Provide leadership for maintenance activities and sustain high standards of plant condition and equipment performance.
• Lead maintenance team skills development, technical training, and qualification efforts.
• Scope and execute capital projects, support annual budgeting, manage department spending, and identify technical improvements.
• Analyze critical equipment failures, implement countermeasures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment and/or 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of OSHA equipment requirements and the ability to identify and close safety gaps.
• Experience with root cause analysis techniques, including FMEA, 5 Whys, and ATS, plus countermeasure implementation.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, instrumentation, lubrication, and predictive maintenance principles.
• Strong organization, project management, communication, cost management, and team leadership skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS.

• Experience with CMMS.
• Experience in TPM or reliability.
