Plant Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Denver, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite plant-based role

Salary: $114,900–$158,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for capital projects supporting plant operations.
• Develop and execute CAPEX projects ranging from $25,000 to $1,000,000 or more.
• Create project scopes, detailed engineering designs, layouts, and specifications.
• Direct design, installation, construction, and commissioning through transition to operations.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, quality, safety, warehousing, and corporate engineering teams while providing troubleshooting support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as a project manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process design and engineering principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience leading projects from initiation through completion in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Knowledge of project management, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• PMP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
• Experience in food manufacturing, operations, or process improvement.
