Sports Reporter

Location: Denver, Colorado, at 100 E. Speer Blvd; on-site role with travel required to cover sports teams and major sporting events.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Anchor and produce sports streaming programming and a nightly sports show.
• Report clearly and concisely on Colorado professional and high-level college sports.
• Shoot, write, edit, and produce sports stories, digital elements, and feature content.
• Provide extensive live coverage from major sporting events.
• Break sports news, respond to developing events, and maintain connections with sources.
• Co-anchor nightly sports shows and anchor sportscasts as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum four years of experience in sports reporting and producing.
• Experience covering professional and high-level college sports teams.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, producing, and ENG cameras.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and a memorable, energetic on-air presence.
• College degree and valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel to cover sports teams.
