DTC Associate Producer (Content Strategy)

Location: New York, NY; must be willing to work in New York and have unrestricted work authorization in the United States

What you will do

• Develop and edit direct-to-consumer video content with coordinating producers, producers, production assistants, and news talent.
• Cover significant political and breaking news stories for the MS NOW DTC platform.
• Research content ideas, assist with guest booking, and support production and operations for remote shoots.
• Curate featured video content in the MS NOW DTC app.
• Quality-check video, graphics, scripts, and copy for accuracy and editorial alignment.
• Maintain strong editorial standards and journalistic rigor across content development and production.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience producing news, breaking news, or political content for digital or social platforms.
• Strong news judgment, writing, research, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Solid video editing experience and the ability to deliver content quickly.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Pro Tools, and YouTube Studio; established knowledge of VMix and Riverside.
• Willingness to work weekends, late nights, non-traditional hours, and respond to breaking news outside regular working hours.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY and have unrestricted US work authorization.
