Field Camera Operations Manager (Sports Production)

Location: Secaucus, USA; in-office. The role requires travel and non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead field camera crews, media technicians, and logistics personnel for hirify.global games, practices, and special events.
• Oversee camera deployment, placement, coverage strategy, and technical quality while collaborating with directors, producers, and technical teams.
• Manage ingest, tagging, storage, retrieval, and distribution of field and broadcast media for near real-time production access.
• Maintain metadata standards, rights management, league policies, and broadcast compliance.
• Evaluate and integrate 4K/8K cameras, remote production tools, AI-driven media tagging, and mobile production solutions.
• Coordinate travel, equipment, vendors, budgets, procurement, scheduling, and on-site logistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film or TV Production.
• 5+ years of experience in sports production.
• Experience with remote and cloud-based production workflows and high-pressure live broadcast environments.
• Experience with High Frame Rate camera systems and their use in live sports.
• Experience capturing and producing behind-the-scenes content for digital and social platforms.
• Willingness to travel and work nights, weekends, and other non-traditional hours.
