Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, Nights (Logistics)

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA. Onsite night shift, Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Starting hiring rate: $25.85 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Move raw materials, work in process, finished goods, and other materials between warehouse, shipping, receiving, and manufacturing areas.
• Load and unload trucks and tankers and verify materials against shipping and receiving documents.
• Process outbound shipments, verify pallet quantities, and coordinate loading with dispatch cut-off times.
• Record material movements in the inventory management system and complete warehouse, rack, and cycle-count inventories.
• Coordinate with Finishing, Coating, and Shipping/Receiving teams to meet order and dispatch requirements.
• Support safety, 5S, housekeeping, recycling, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Valid forklift license.
• Working knowledge of computers and programs including Oracle, Telnet, OTM, Google Docs, and Lotus Notes.
• Written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, time management, and independent-work skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, work reliably in a team environment, and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work the required night schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Nice to have

• Three to five years of experience in a similar manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong Oracle experience and understanding.
• Experience leading continuous improvement or implementing Lean manufacturing processes.
• Project management and time management skills.
