Shipping and Receiving Coordinator (Logistics)

Location: Edwardsville, Illinois, United States; primarily office-based with regular walking and standing and occasional time in production or warehouse areas.

Salary: $20–$26 per hour, plus an annual incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, carrier appointments, dock-door assignments, and truck arrivals and departures.
• Review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, appointment records, shipping numbers, and carrier logs.
• Verify loads meet customer requirements for labels, placards, temperature devices, reefer settings, sequencing, and securement.
• Partner with Quality to apply seals, complete documentation, and maintain accurate shipping records.
• Prepare the next-shift shipping schedule and verify staged loads are damage-free and ready.
• Report shipment discrepancies and coordinate product readiness with production, inventory, quality, customer service, and carriers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant shipping, receiving, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing facility operations and the movement of goods and materials through the manufacturing cycle.
• Understanding of inventory management for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Ability to follow manufacturing policies, standards, procedures, GMPs, SOPs, and safety requirements.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and frequently walk or stand.
