What you will do

• Administer, maintain, and provide operational support for the Platform-as-a-Service component of the CASA Compute Environment.
• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments.
• Operate and support secure, multi-tenant, high-performance, highly available Kubernetes clusters on Linux infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads involving ingress, performance, networking, and storage.
• Document the full software stack, update software for sustainment, and execute performance characterization tests.
• Support platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and mission application requirements.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus at least six years of relevant experience, or an approved combination of five years of directly related Computer Science work and six years of relevant experience.
• Experience with the Linux CLI, Linux tools, and Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience with Docker or Podman, Kubernetes cluster administration and monitoring, and Kubernetes workload troubleshooting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code principles and Ansible automation.
• Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm charts, using Prometheus/Grafana, and collaborating through Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in DevOps environments using Agile methodologies.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Python application development, REST services, and microservices.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
