Visiting Professor Didactic with Labs Evening (6P-10p) (Nursing)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. Evening availability from 6p–10p is required.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education, experience, course type, licensure, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Teach nursing students through clinical instruction and, under supervision, didactic course content.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise students delivering nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Develop clinical assignments and grade homework, quizzes, tests, laboratory assignments, and clinical paperwork.
• Provide student remediation centered around the evening 6p–10p shift.
• Collaborate with course coordinators, faculty, clinical agencies, and administration on student success and program improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Texas required.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience in the area of instruction within the last five years.
• Evening availability from 6p–10p required.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, collaboration, and student support.
