Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty (Part-Time)

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, USA; onsite clinical teaching in a clinical setting

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach adult health and medical-surgical nursing in clinical settings.
• Plan clinical experiences and supervise students providing nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Provide remediation and maintain current knowledge of clinical agency policies and procedures.
• Develop clinical assignments and grade coursework, assessments, lab assignments, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate student and agency issues to the course coordinator and academic leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered registered nursing license in Arkansas.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

• Teaching or precepting experience.
