Plant Controller (Multi-site)

Location: On-site in McMinnville, Tennessee, United States. Full-time on-site presence is required, with periodic overtime during close, forecasting, and budget cycles and occasional travel to corporate offices or other plant locations. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual plant financial statements and lead the monthly close.
• Ensure reporting complies with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, and standardized multi-site practices.
• Manage standard costs, job costing, inventory valuation, reserves, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Analyze manufacturing variances, scrap, rework, yield, and performance against budget, forecast, and peer sites.
• Lead plant budgeting and forecasting, including production, cost, capital, and depreciation assumptions.
• Partner with plant leadership, corporate finance, and other controllers on controls, audits, process standardization, and operational decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including manufacturing or cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing financial processes, U.S. GAAP, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems in multi-site environments, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in McMinnville and meet applicable U.S. work authorization requirements without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMA designation.
• Experience in multi-site manufacturing or matrixed organizations.
• Experience with BI or enterprise reporting tools.
