Plant Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Mason, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Mason factory

New hire base salary: $104,200–$130,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead management, reporting, and planning for the plant’s financial and accounting activities.
• Present manufacturing financial results, risks, opportunities, and key performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Manage the SAP month-end close process and reconcile plant balance sheet accounts.
• Provide cost forecasting, productivity pipeline analysis, financial standards, and cost-reduction insights.
• Lead audits, maintain a strong internal control environment, and ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Support capital appropriations, new product development, plant capacity and asset management initiatives, and develop direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• At least 6 years of experience in finance or accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, product costing, and financial systems.
• Extensive practical knowledge of SAP or other costing systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated project management and change management abilities.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or CGA designation.
• MBA in Accounting or Finance.
