Test Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Perry, Oklahoma, United States; onsite work in office, shop, laboratory, and outdoor field environments

Salary: $70,000–$125,000 annual pay range

What you will do

• Develop and conduct test programs to verify specifications and validate the reliability of components and products.
• Develop or specify test methods, fixtures, equipment, and data acquisition systems for laboratory and field use.
• Prepare, approve, and maintain test procedures, forms, records, and technical reports.
• Communicate test results, conclusions, and recommendations to product development design groups.
• Coordinate and provide technical direction to test technicians assigned to projects.
• Travel to customer job sites and local test fields to inspect and evaluate equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a closely related engineering field.
• Background with significant mechanical and electromechanical experience.
• Working knowledge of test specifications for components and systems.
• Experience expectations range from 0–2 years for Test Engineer I to 10 or more years for Test Engineer V.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to work in office, shop, and outdoor environments involving noise, dirt, machinery, electrical equipment, hazardous materials, rough terrain, and changing weather conditions.
