Marine Test Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States; 10–15% domestic and international travel required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $59,000–$85,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop validation plans linked to product requirements and defined acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate and execute tests, including documentation, scheduling, sample builds, equipment setup, data collection, teardown, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Communicate test schedules, risks, late inputs, scope changes, and delivery delays to program leads.
• Investigate test incidents, field issues, and design gaps with cross-functional product development teams.
• Support laboratory safety, quality, calibration, maintenance, and operational compliance.
• Help plan laboratory capabilities, capital investments, resource allocation, and integration of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience, including internship or co-op experience.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary validation equipment and processes, including mechanical, environmental, software, hardware, EMC, systems, and data acquisition testing.
• Experience with LIMS, laboratory standards, calibration and maintenance, documentation, and test reporting.
• Hands-on experience assembling test samples, fixtures, and equipment, and dismantling parts and products.
• Ability to work in office and laboratory environments, handle equipment weighing up to 50 lb, and occasionally work outdoors, on water, or in adverse weather.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
