TL;DR
Power Electronics EOL Test Engineer - Electrification (Power Electronics/Manufacturing): Planning and delivering end-of-line testing for power electronics product lines with an accent on product quality, manufacturing readiness, and testing efficiency. Focus on developing test strategies and tooling, troubleshooting equipment and system issues, and improving automated, robotic, and computer-aided manufacturing processes.

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days per week. Domestic travel up to 10% is required, with potential international travel. Relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year

What you will do

  • Plan and deliver end-of-line testing for power electronics product lines in production manufacturing.
  • Implement and improve testing, validation techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to increase product quality.
  • Resolve design and manufacturing issues and support design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
  • Plan and optimize testing procedures for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor machine and process capability, performance, and reliability.
  • Provide technical testing guidance to global engineering and supplier partner teams while leading complex projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering or Technology field, or extensive related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with product testing approaches, test plans, testing methodologies, tools, scenarios, and scripts.
  • Strong analytical thinking and root-cause problem-solving skills.
  • Technical expertise in resolving manufacturing, equipment, systems, integration, and communications problems.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, including processing large quantities of detailed information.
  • Ability to work onsite in Mossville, Illinois five days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with automation, robotics, or computer-aided manufacturing software.
  • Experience working with multi-vendor environments and supplier partner teams.
