Assistant Project Manager (Trenchless Construction)

Location: Renton, Washington, United States; travel up to 30% required

Salary: $80,000–$108,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Support the planning, organization, and implementation of project management activities.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate designated construction projects within schedule and funding parameters.
• Coordinate field operations, materials procurement, and submittal preparation.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, anticipate project needs, and resolve changing circumstances.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and delivery goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience coordinating field operations, materials procurement, and submittal preparation.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle types driven and an acceptable driving record are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, independent judgment, teamwork, and deadline management.
• Travel of up to 30% is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMGC, or other project delivery methods.
• Exposure to trenchless technology.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with Primavera, HCSS, B2W, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
