Project Manager (Underground Cable)

Location: Bedford Park, IL; Montgomery, IL; or Otsego, MN. Full-time role with required travel.

Expected salary: $105,000–$145,000 USD per year, with actual compensation varying by location, skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Manage a phase of a larger construction project or multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
• Lead projects from the initial proposal and bidding process through profitable completion.
• Meet or exceed client expectations while maintaining project performance.
• Prioritize safety performance throughout project execution.
• Coordinate delivery of underground fiber, electric, transmission, distribution, and duct bank work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field, with 3–5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with underground fiber and/or electric construction, including overhead-to-underground conversions, duct banks, or underground transmission.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera or HCSS.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle types driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel is required.
