Associate Project Manager (Underground Cable)

Location: Bedford Park, IL; Montgomery, IL; or Otsego, MN. Various locations and travel required.

Expected salary range: $65,000–$85,000 USD per year.

Underground line and duct bank contractor delivering buried and protected power, copper, fiber optic, and coaxial cable infrastructure across the United States.

What you will do

• Support project planning, organization, and implementation of project management principles under direct supervision.
• Track project costs and labor to improve performance, productivity, and cost control.
• Coordinate material submittals and support subcontractor management.
• Assist with contract compliance and essential project administration.
• Work with internal customers and project teams to meet deadlines and anticipate project needs.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in utilities, project management, and/or construction management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles that may be driven.
• Acceptable driving record as determined by the company review team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
