Vice President of Nuclear Development Communications

Location: Columbus, OH, United States

Salary: $221,489.00–$287,934.50 per year, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive.

What you will do

• Advise the President and executive team on communications strategy, messaging, and reputation management.
• Develop communications plans aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry leadership.
• Lead crisis communications and manage issues affecting Nuclear Development’s reputation.
• Oversee executive messaging, media relations, digital platforms, internal communications, and brand development.
• Build relationships with media, government agencies, industry partners, community leaders, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the communications budget and guide the professional development of the communications team.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience leading strategic communications and public relations for a large organization.
• Deep understanding of the energy industry, including its regulatory and policy landscape.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Experience managing crisis situations and making strategic decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information to employees, investors, and the public.
