Senior Manager, Communications (Energy)

Location: United States; fully remote. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship from hirify.global.

Salary: $155,000–$185,000 annual base salary, plus a target annual bonus of 20% of base salary and eligibility for long-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Lead media relations across energy trade publications and tier-one financial and business outlets.
• Plan and execute partner announcements and press releases from drafting through media coverage and corrections.
• Build executive communications programs, secure interviews and speaking opportunities, and coach executives and spokespeople.
• Develop thought leadership through podcasts, events, executive platforms, and external social channels.
• Lead communications strategy for company milestones, growth moments, and crisis situations.
• Partner with executive leadership, go-to-market, product, policy, legal, strategy, operations, and data teams while establishing measurable communications KPIs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of communications experience, including meaningful energy-sector experience.
• Established relationships with energy trade press and tier-one financial and business journalists.
• Experience supporting an early-stage or high-growth company through major milestones and building an external communications function.
• Exceptional writing, spokesperson, executive coaching, crisis communications, and risk-management skills.
• Experience managing agency support and working with remote, distributed teams across time zones.
• Strong collaboration, judgment, adaptability, self-motivation, and attention to detail in confidential and high-pressure situations.
