Communications Lead Analyst (Renewable Energy)

Salary: $97,500–$121,550 per year, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Support external communications strategies for the US Renewables & Power portfolio.
• Develop communications plans, project narratives, and stakeholder engagement strategies across the project lifecycle.
• Create FAQs, fact sheets, presentations, newsletters, website content, public notices, talking points, social media content, and stakeholder communications.
• Support media relations, media monitoring, leadership messaging, and briefing materials.
• Contribute to issue management and crisis communications related to projects and reputational matters.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, agencies, consultants, vendors, and external partners while improving communication tools and processes.

Requirements

• Experience in communications, public affairs, public relations, marketing, journalism, stakeholder engagement, community relations, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, political science, environmental policy, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear messages for different audiences and channels.
• Strong project management, planning, prioritization, organizational, relationship-building, and judgment skills.
• Ability to travel as business needs require.

Nice to have

• Experience in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, sustainability, or other regulated or community-facing industries.
• Familiarity with media monitoring, stakeholder management, digital communications, content management, social listening, or project management platforms.
