Yard FLT Operative (Automotive)

Location: Road Three, Winsford, Cheshire, United Kingdom; onsite yard-based role

Salary: £27,560 per year

What you will do

• Load and unload lorries and move vehicles between locations.
• Inspect incoming vehicles and record damage accurately in inspection reports.
• Capture clear vehicle images and sounds using video cameras.
• Provide customer service and resolve issues for clients and suppliers.
• Clean vehicles and the site while following health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Full driving licence required.
• Relevant forklift truck certificate required.
• Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to record vehicle damage clearly and accurately.
• Teamwork, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and basic IT skills.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Random drug and alcohol screening applies.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a salvage site.
• Knowledge of or interest in motor vehicles.
