Supply Chain Manager I (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Greenville, Texas, United States. Onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop subcontract management specialists and subcontract managers.
• Oversee sourcing, proposals, negotiations, contract administration, and closeout across the subcontract lifecycle.
• Negotiate pricing, schedules, terms, conditions, and milestones with subcontractors.
• Build and manage a reliable supply base while improving supplier performance, quality, and delivery.
• Develop cost reduction, efficiency, and supply chain risk management strategies.
• Partner with program management, contracts, legal, and executive leadership on complex supply chain issues, planning, forecasts, capital requests, and KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 11+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in operations or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Strong negotiation and supply chain management skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or CPSM/CPIM certification.
• Experience in development, production, and customer logistics support.
• Contracts or subcontracts experience in aerospace and defense.
• Experience managing complex firm-fixed-price, cost-plus development, and teaming agreements.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ERP, and Procure-to-Pay or Source-to-Pay systems.
