Director, Supply Chain (Aerospace)

Location: Mojave, California, United States; onsite position with a 9/80 schedule

Salary: $197,000–$222,000 annual base salary plus a 20% target bonus

What you will do

• Lead supply chain strategy and execution for multiple government programs and business units across several states.
• Oversee Procurement, Supplier Management, Shipping & Receiving, and Property Control / Inventory functions.
• Manage supplier relationships, sourcing, contract negotiations, performance, risk, and continuity planning.
• Direct inventory control, demand planning, production scheduling, inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, and warehousing.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, export controls, ITAR, EAR, AS9100, and company policies.
• Drive cost reduction, Lean or Six Sigma process improvements, KPI analytics, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of aerospace supply chain requirements, regulations, and quality standards.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, organizational, leadership, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• The position is located in Mojave, California, United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, MBA, or related studies.
• Aerospace or defense industry experience.
• Governance, compliance, and internal or external audit experience.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
• APICS, CSCP, CPSM, Six Sigma, or another relevant industry certification.
