What you will do
- Lead a multi-layered organization covering purchasing, materials planning, inventory control, and logistics.
- Own site-level supply chain execution and ensure material flow from suppliers through production to customer delivery.
- Oversee procurement execution across more than $100 million in annual spend and address supplier delivery, quality, and performance issues.
- Lead demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, material availability, warehousing, transportation, and material handling.
- Partner with category management, supplier development, quality, operations, and engineering in a matrixed organization.
- Drive improvements in on-time delivery, cost, inventory turns, lean practices, visual management, and KPI performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of supply chain experience in aerospace and defense or regulated manufacturing.
- 5–7 years of experience managing managers and leading multi-layered teams.
- Strong end-to-end experience across procurement, planning, and logistics.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, ITAR, AS9100, CPSR, DOT, IATA, ATF, and internal compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- MBA or another advanced degree.
- CPSM, CPIM, PMP, or Lean/Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with process design, problem solving, lean tools, IFS, or similar ERP systems.
- Experience supporting R&D-to-production transitions and backgrounds in complex machining, electronics, or energetics.
