EHS Specialist

Salary: $71,822–$107,732 base salary annually, plus performance-related bonus and benefits.

Develops electronic materials and manufacturing solutions for semiconductor, circuitry, electronics assembly, automotive, telecom, and related industries.

What you will do

• Support commissioning and startup of new manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate air, stormwater, wastewater, and hazardous materials permitting with consultants, contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop EHS procedures, SOPs, permits, signage, inspections, training programs, and compliance documentation.
• Administer environmental permits, regulatory reporting, hazardous waste accumulation and disposal, and compliance records.
• Support OSHA programs covering lockout/tagout, confined space, respiratory protection, hazard communication, hot work, fall protection, PPE, and contractor safety.
• Participate in PHAs, MOCs, PSSRs, incident investigations, audits, corrective actions, and implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational safety, chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, semiconductor, battery, pharmaceutical, specialty chemicals, or a similar regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Strong organizational, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with air, stormwater, or wastewater permitting; RCRA hazardous waste; California environmental regulations; PSM; PHA; MOC; ISO 14001 or ISO 45001; contractor management; or startup and greenfield manufacturing projects.
