Senior Engineer - Crash Analyst (Automotive) (CAE and vehicle simulation): Building and analyzing vehicle and vehicle-subsystem models with an accent on crash simulation, test correlation, and product performance improvements. Location: hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.

Salary: $79,300–$126,900 per year across U.S. locations.

What you will do

  • Create models and perform CAE-based analyses of vehicles, vehicle subsystems, and other industrial products.
  • Define simulation approaches and methodologies for product development projects.
  • Communicate project scope, technical methods, assumptions, results, and recommendations through reports and presentations.
  • Recommend technically feasible product improvements targeting performance gains and weight or cost reductions.
  • Collaborate with test engineering teams on system and subsystem testing, including correlation of test data with simulation results.
  • Develop Python and Matlab scripts to automate analysis processes.

Requirements

  • Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Three or more years of related engineering experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Regular attendance and compliance with professional and ethical policies are required.
  • Some positions may require applicants to be U.S. Persons under ITAR or EAR regulations.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or engineering mechanics.
  • Familiarity with CAE tools and programming languages.
  • Familiarity with FMVSS regulations.
