Control Systems Engineering (CSE) Senior Engineer (Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Execute process control system engineering for small, medium, and large oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, and heavy-industry projects.
• Participate in detailed engineering execution phases and develop designs in line with applicable specifications and standards.
• Deliver scope covering DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzers.
• Create requisitions for engineered items and develop spare-parts lists.
• Review supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project controls, leadership, clients, and other stakeholders on technical and commercial issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years of total experience, including 3+ years in industrial oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries.
• At least 3 years of technical control systems and/or instrumentation engineering experience.
• EIT certification required.
• Experience with process control specifications, control system design, and supplier management.
• Strong organization, prioritization, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• PE or P.Eng. certification.
• Experience with DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS, process control systems, and network architectures.
• Experience with instrumentation, electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and panel schedules.
• Exposure to telecommunications, cybersecurity, and process analyzer engineering.
