New Business Project Management – IMS Project Manager

Location: Hybrid position based in Pomona, California; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. The role requires up to 30% travel and field work throughout the SCE service territory.

Salary: $143,900–$215,800 per year

What you will do

• Manage Small/Macro Cell Sites and Wireless Technology Rate accounts for wireless carrier projects from initiation through close.
• Lead project initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure across scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage electric transmission and distribution projects involving infrastructure replacement, wildfire mitigation, load growth, poles, line upgrades, maintenance, and installations.
• Drive milestones and coordinate designs, schedules, project applications, compliance and safety documentation, regulatory filings, and agency coordination.
• Perform power flow and fault analysis studies to determine transmission system impacts and requirements.
• Facilitate development plans, work packages, testing procedures, and energization sequences while collaborating with project managers, leadership, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least seven years of project management experience.
• Ability to manage moderately complex projects under time constraints, shifting priorities, and limited supervision.
• Experience coordinating scope, cost, resources, vendors, planning, performance tracking, risk, safety, and reporting across multiple projects.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration, communication, negotiation, decision-making, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Design Manager, Click, WorkIt Salesforce, SAP, and BRPPP.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, and other sensitive company information.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Project management certification.
• Experience mentoring employees, leading small teams, and delivering training.
• Experience developing technical presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
