Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution (Power Delivery)

What you will do

• Lead utility infrastructure projects through estimating, bidding, execution, and closeout.
• Manage transmission lines, distribution upgrades, and substation construction activities.
• Control project scope, budgets, costs, forecasts, schedules, safety, compliance, quality, and performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field leadership, and internal project teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with utility clients and support project planning for overhead and underground power delivery scopes.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and operational feedback.

Requirements

• 1–7+ years of construction project management experience in transmission, distribution, utility, or electrical infrastructure projects, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience managing project scope, cost, schedule, and field execution.
• Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution construction methods, sequencing, and project delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management or scheduling software such as Primavera P6, HCSS, or MS Project.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, willingness to travel, and ability to support long-term onsite assignments.

Nice to have

• Experience with utility clients, cooperatives, or EPC transmission projects.
• Background in overhead transmission, underground distribution, or substation integration.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary power delivery projects.
• Familiarity with ERCOT, MISO, or other regional transmission environments.
