Director, Product & Learning & Development (Robotics)

What you will do

• Define and own the global roadmap for technical readiness, field deployment, customer education, and partner enablement.
• Build a scalable, multi-tenant learning ecosystem integrating LMS, LXP, sandbox, CRM, customer success, and support tools.
• Lead technical curricula covering robot supervision, teleoperation, safety, deployment readiness, and new product introductions.
• Develop global certification programs and persona-based competency models for field engineers, partners, and customer operators.
• Commercialize tiered training packages and certification tracks while managing the function’s budget and business metrics.
• Recruit and lead managers, technical trainers, instructional designers, and e-learning developers while partnering with Product, Engineering, GSS, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

• Approximately 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technical training, product learning and development, customer education, or technical enablement.
• At least 5 years of director-level management experience, including managing managers and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience building a global product education or enablement function from the ground up in a rapidly scaling organization.
• Ability to design modern learning ecosystems combining LMS, LXP, AI-driven content, and simulated sandbox environments.
• Experience linking learning metrics to business outcomes such as ROI, net revenue retention, support deflection, and deployment speed.
• Executive presence and technical credibility across hardware and software engineering, go-to-market, commercial, and C-suite stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, hardware-plus-software, industrial technology, or complex B2B SaaS and hardware environments.
• Understanding of human-robot interfaces, workflow redesign, supervisory skills, and change management.
• Experience with AI-enabled learning tools, digital twins, virtual sandboxes, and in-the-flow performance support.
