Project Controls Manager

What you will do

• Coordinate monthly project close activities with Project Management and Accounting, including accruals, revenue adjustments, actuals extraction, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop Estimate at Completion templates and forecasts.
• Identify project risks and opportunities through recurring forecast analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Monitor weekly costs and manpower, validate job-number charging, and perform analytical reviews of cost reporting.
• Support contract change orders, billing reconciliation, cost transfers, and invoice compliance.
• Lead weekly and monthly Project Status Report processes and prepare internal project review presentations and ad hoc reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project cost controls experience.
• 2+ years of project scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera Project Planner (P6).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project or Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Earned Value Professional (EVP) designation.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
