Project Controls Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, USA; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Lead project controls across design and construction phases, including cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost-loaded schedules, and cash flow forecasts from early design through construction closeout.
• Support design-phase cost modeling, schedule development, scope validation, baseline development, and progress measurement.
• Oversee change management through trend logs, change estimates, and impact analysis.
• Identify cost, schedule, and execution risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with estimating, procurement, contracting, engineering, construction, project leadership, clients, and project controls staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in project controls, cost management, or project management within construction, EPC, or design-build environments.
• Experience supporting GMP-regulated or highly technical life sciences design and construction projects.
• Experience across both design and construction phases, preferably in design-build, integrated EPC, or engineer-led delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting, earned value management, and scheduling with Primavera P6 or similar tools.
• Advanced Excel and project controls software proficiency, financial acumen, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
