Registered Nurse - Surge Unit - Full Time - Day/Night Rotator

What you will do

• Provide inpatient-level nursing care to cardiac/telemetry and medical-surgical patients awaiting inpatient bed placement.
• Deliver care across a range of patient needs using the nursing process.
• Create a therapeutic and caring environment for patients and families.
• Involve patients and families in goal setting and communicate care plans across shifts and care settings.
• Recognize and manage rapidly changing clinical situations using critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Float to other clinical areas as needed and collaborate with emergency and inpatient units.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain BLS qualification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• Work a 12-hour day/night rotating schedule totaling 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
