Registered Nurse- ICU-G, (Days) Weekend Track-New Competitive Pay!

Location: ICU-Ground, Main Campus at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts. Full-time weekend track, working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for 36 hours per week.

Pay range: $37.50–$75.32 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to intensive care patients and their families.
• Apply the nursing process in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.
• Monitor patient condition using the visual and aural acuity required for safe care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Lift, turn, and maneuver patients while following physical safety requirements.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN licensure in good standing is required.
• 12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications relevant to patient care may be required.
• A BSN is preferred; candidates with an associate degree in nursing may be considered and are encouraged to enroll in a BSN program within one year of hire.
• 1–2 years of experience in telemetry or an intermediate care setting is preferred; ACLS is preferred.
