Location: Urbana, Ohio, United States; occasional travel of 5%–10%.

What you will do
- Lead hourly and temporary recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and orientation.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, staffing strategies, and employee retention.
- Support employees and supervisors with employee relations matters, investigations, policies, and workplace concerns.
- Administer payroll-related activities, attendance, vacation tracking, wage changes, and benefits enrollment.
- Coordinate hourly performance reviews, employee development, recognition, engagement, volunteer, and community activities.
- Support employment-law compliance, ethics, special projects, and the Human Resources Manager as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing setting in Urbana, Ohio and travel occasionally.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Manufacturing or union-environment experience.
- Experience with employee relations, recruiting, and HR compliance initiatives.
