Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA, or New York City, NY

Salary: $250,000–$295,000 annual base salary, plus equity and bonus

hirify.global is building an AI-native outbound platform where revenue teams identify in-market buyers, enrich accounts from more than 40 data sources, and execute personalized multichannel outreach.

What you will do

• Scale the core platform to support rapid growth and large-scale customers.
• Partner with founders and cross-functional stakeholders to turn ambiguous business goals into phased engineering plans.
• Establish coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, reliability targets, and observability practices.
• Prototype and integrate third-party APIs, databases, model-serving platforms, and infrastructure vendors.
• Provide technical leadership through pairing, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering unblocking; people management may be included.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading critical projects or teams.
• Deep hands-on experience scaling and operating PostgreSQL, including partitioned and sharded schemas, index and query tuning, automated backups, observability, replication, and failover.
• Experience shipping high-impact, production-grade systems at scale.
• Strong customer focus, rapid prototyping skills, and collaborative mentoring experience.
