Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Illinois, United States; hybrid/onsite

Salary: $126,000–$190,000 annually, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate AI-powered authentication and authorization services across the hirify.global platform.
• Develop resilient, cloud-native capabilities for secure access and customer innovation.
• Safeguard customer data through secure, scalable, and reliable platform design.
• Support mission-critical legal workflows and distributed systems at enterprise scale.
• Solve complex technical problems and design systems for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Raise engineering quality through technical leadership, design discussions, code reviews, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on cloud-native or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of modern software design principles and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience delivering and owning complex solutions in production and working with distributed multi-tenant systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and incident response.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building full-stack systems at scale with React and .NET.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, scalability trade-offs, and secure-by-default design.
• Experience in high-scale or regulated environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
