What you will do

• Develop new and improved products and formulations to meet customer requirements.
• Work with suppliers to identify and qualify raw materials.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Control.
• Support technical sales by attending product trials at customer sites.
• Prepare detailed technical reports by organizing and summarizing development work.
• Characterize, handle, label, inspect, and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of industrial experience, including product development and formulation.
• Knowledge of polymers, lubricants, coatings, emulsions, and surface chemistry.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
• Ability to mentor less experienced technical staff.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the wood and paper industry.
