Head of Demand Planning

What you will do

• Coach and mentor a team of four demand planners while fostering continuous improvement and analytical thinking.
• Lead the monthly S&OP process and align demand forecasts, supply plans, and inventory targets across functions.
• Build and roll out the Global IBP program in Benelux and develop innovative demand planning strategies.
• Conduct what-if analysis and scenario planning, communicate critical exceptions, and recommend risk-mitigation actions.
• Develop forecasts and volume plans for new product launches, monitor launch progress, and adjust supply chain plans.
• Manage delisted or obsolete inventory, perform root cause analysis of write-offs, and implement reduction strategies.

Requirements

• Work location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
• Advanced proficiency in demand planning software such as 09, SAP APO, or similar systems.
• Strong data analysis and statistical skills, including experience with large datasets and data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Proven stakeholder management and people leadership skills, including experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
