Senior Manager Supply Chain (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end supply chain performance for the Medemblik manufacturing site, improving on-time delivery and customer service levels.
• Drive production planning, inventory management, distribution planning, buying, and material availability.
• Balance customer demand, operational efficiency, working capital, and supply risk.
• Partner with Customer Service to resolve supply and service issues and improve the customer experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop planning, logistics, and supply chain teams.
• Collaborate with operations, customers, and global stakeholders to improve data integrity and operational performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing, covering end-to-end planning, execution, service levels, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including developing managers and high-performing teams through organizational change.
• Experience working in global matrix organizations and influencing cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
• Strong manufacturing background with a record of operational excellence, service improvement, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong ERP expertise, preferably SAP and Oracle. Fluent English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or healthcare products.
• Lean Green Belt, Black Belt, or another continuous improvement credential.
• Dutch language skills.
