Salary: $78,610–$129,145 annually

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise in structural engineering and resolve complex project problems.
• Coordinate structural design from schematic design through design development and contract documents.
• Lead structural deliverables in collaboration with architecture, MEP, civil engineering, and other disciplines.
• Analyze and design building superstructure components, calculations, materials, and structural specifications.
• Review documents for interdisciplinary conflicts, coordinate changes, and support code-compliance reviews with governing agencies.
• Perform construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFI responses, contractor coordination, and field support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 4 years of structural engineering experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location, such as PE or P.Eng.
• Experience with structural design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, or SAFE.
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
