Critical Facilities Technician (Data Center)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; onsite data center operations with day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required

Salary: $35.00–$45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain critical and non-critical mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, generator, fire detection, fire suppression, life-safety, and control systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across interior and exterior building equipment and physical infrastructure.
• Execute maintenance work in accordance with MOP, SOP, ERP, and maintenance work instructions, including change control processes.
• Coordinate and oversee employees and third-party contractors during maintenance, modifications, and safe system operation.
• Respond to fires, evacuations, equipment failures, customer concerns, and other emergency situations.
• Process work orders, order required materials, complete maintenance documentation, and conduct scheduled building tours.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 3–5 years of experience supporting electrical or mechanical critical facilities, or 7+ years as an HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, building management systems, digital security systems, and facility operations.
• Ability to work overtime and extended 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to evaluate and monitor safe work procedures for employees and contractors.
