Facilities Technician (Medtech)

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States; onsite

Hourly pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, installation, repair, and replacement of building equipment and systems.
• Document maintenance activities in a work order system and recommend improvements to maintenance programs and system design.
• Support external service providers and contractors working on facility systems.
• Respond to unscheduled, emergency, on-call, and after-hours situations, including floods, roof leaks, and storm emergencies.
• Manage spare-parts inventory and order supplies and materials for routine equipment operation.
• Travel between hirify.global sites and work on special facilities projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in a similar facilities role.
• Working knowledge of building repairs and safe, efficient use of power and hand tools.
• Experience with JCI Metasys, CMMS, Building Management Systems, or Building Automation Systems.
• Computer and Microsoft Office experience; valid driver's license.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds independently, carry a cell phone, and participate in on-call support.

Nice to have

• Training or experience repairing, operating, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment.
