Lab Technician 1 (Electronics)

Location: Rolling Meadows, Illinois, United States; onsite laboratory work

What you will do

• Perform electrical and mechanical testing according to customer specifications and ISO 17025 requirements.
• Set up complex tests, test fixtures, and basic mechanical assemblies.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, force meters, torque meters, and other laboratory equipment.
• Record, verify, review, and report test data and critical test observations.
• Perform routine maintenance and verification checks on testing equipment.
• Update test documentation and assist the Quality Officer with Management and Quality System compliance.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electronics.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Competence with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Project.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed customer instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand motions, stand frequently, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
