TL;DR
Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Healthcare Analytics): Building and transforming reporting, data models, and visualization solutions for Provider Programs with an accent on Databricks, Power BI, healthcare data, and complex analytical datasets. Location: Remote Kentucky, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required for training or meetings.

Salary: $89,000–$121,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

  • Own reporting and analytics capabilities for a Provider Programs portfolio offering.
  • Evaluate existing capabilities and lead their transformation toward greater uniformity and structure.
  • Develop healthcare analytics visualizations based on stakeholder requests.
  • Design, build, and maintain analytical solutions using data warehouse, cloud, business intelligence, and visualization techniques.
  • Build robust data models and integrate data from SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms, and other sources.
  • Document data models, workflows, and user guides while translating analytics into strategic next-best actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of technical data analysis experience, or a master’s degree with at least 4 years of experience.
  • At least 2 years of project leadership experience.
  • Advanced experience with Databricks or other data systems, plus experience with Power BI or comparable visualization tools.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and proficiency in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and predictive modeling.
  • Understanding of healthcare-related data and ability to create analytics solutions that support business decisions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Advanced experience with SQL Server, Azure, Databricks, and other data systems.
  • Experience creating analytics solutions for different healthcare sectors.
  • Experience with Stars or HEDIS.
