What you will do

  • Collaborate with design, pattern engineering, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to align products with development strategies and brand standards.
  • Create tech packs with measurement worksheets and construction images.
  • Evaluate samples, communicate fit comments, conduct wear tests, and follow products from fit approval through production.
  • Schedule and lead fit sessions, including measuring live models and participating in fit model go-sees.
  • Manage development calendars, sample organization, supplier capacity discussions, and escalations.
  • Analyze market research and customer review data to support product recommendations and mentor new hires.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Apparel Manufacturing, Pattern Making, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical design or a related field.
  • Experience developing tailored woven products such as blazers, trousers, and shirting.
  • Working knowledge of grade rules and tolerances.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organization, communication, interpersonal, independent-working, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to 3D apparel development tools such as Browzwear, CLO, or Optitex.
  • Exposure to 2D pattern software such as Gerber AccuMark or Optitex.
