Registered Nurse (Surge Unit)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; onsite night shift in the Surge Unit, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly and every other weekend requirements.

Bonus: $15,000, paid at 3, 6, and 12 months. Nursing student loan paydown program: up to $20,000.

What you will do

• Provide inpatient-level nursing care to cardiac/telemetry and medical-surgical patients awaiting inpatient bed placement.
• Deliver care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex using the nursing process.
• Create a therapeutic and caring environment and involve patients and families in care planning.
• Recognize and manage rapidly changing clinical situations using critical thinking and clinical decision-making.
• Communicate care plans across shifts and settings in collaboration with the ER and inpatient units.
• Float to other clinical areas as needed while supporting smooth unit operations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate Registered Nurse license required.
• Must work onsite in Manchester, New Hampshire, on night shifts.
• Must obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; ACLS preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are preferred.
