Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations, CEO Office (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build market-entry strategies by assessing market attractiveness, customer opportunities, competition, regulatory feasibility, and the company’s right to win.
• Design entry models covering licensing pathways, entity structures, partnerships, and operating models.
• Translate market-entry and regulatory requirements into product scope, sequencing, and launch dependencies with Product and Engineering.
• Drive cross-functional launch readiness, identify critical-path blockers, and support go/no-go decisions across regulatory, product, operational, risk, and commercial areas.
• Prepare recommendations and decision materials for executive leadership on market prioritization, investments, trade-offs, risks, and launch readiness.
• Build reusable expansion frameworks, dashboards, templates, and AI-enabled tools for research, reporting, risk tracking, and dependency management.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, or in strategy, operations, expansion, product strategy, or regulatory roles within fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure.
• Strong structured problem-solving, hypothesis development, and decision-making skills in ambiguous situations.
• Experience owning at least one complex cross-functional initiative involving product, regulatory, operational, or commercial stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and synthesis skills, including communication with senior stakeholders.
• High ownership, operating discipline, dependency management, and reliable follow-through.
• Comfort using AI tools for research, analysis, drafting, synthesis, or workflow improvement with sound judgment around verification and source quality.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure, especially in strategy, operations, product, expansion, or regulatory roles.
• Experience with financial or payments markets in Latin America.
• Exposure to payments, money transmission, e-money, banking, card issuing, or foreign-exchange regulation and licensing.
• Experience building automation, dashboards, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
